Imojination: emoji Pictionary for teams
Imojination is Pictionary with emoji instead of drawing. On each turn one player - the drawer - is the only person who sees the answer, and builds it out of emoji on a canvas the room can see. Teammates type their guesses into the blanks. No letters or numbers are allowed, so it's all about picking the right pictures.
- Time
- ~12 min
- Team size
- 2+ per team
- Plays
- One team at a time
How a round works
- Pick a category, pick a drawer. The team on turn picks a category; one player becomes the drawer and is the only one who sees the answer.
- Say it with emoji. The drawer builds the answer from emoji - no letters, no numbers - while teammates type guesses into the blanks.
- Guess it before time's up. A right guess scores 30; each hint letter costs 5. Then the next team takes a turn.
Best for
- Groups who would never agree to draw in front of colleagues
- Remote teams, because everything happens on screen
- Ending a session on laughs

Questions
Do I need to be able to draw?
No. The drawer picks emoji from a palette and places, resizes and rotates them. That is the point - anyone can do it.
Who picks the drawer?
The host nominates the drawer for each turn, so the team decides who goes rather than someone volunteering by accident.
