Punchline: the funniest answer wins

Punchline puts up a prompt with a gap and everyone writes their own ending. All the answers go up without names and the room votes for its favourite - you can't vote for your own. Every vote scores for the writer's team, and the authors are revealed at the end.

How a round works

  1. Finish the line. A prompt with a gap goes up - everyone writes their own answer in 60 seconds.
  2. Vote anonymously. All the answers go up without names; vote for your favourite (not your own).
  3. Votes are points. Every vote is worth 10 to the writer's team. Authors are revealed at the end.

Questions

Why are the answers anonymous?

So people vote for the funniest answer rather than for their friends. Names are revealed once the voting is over.

Are the prompts safe for work?

Yes. They're about office life - meetings, printers, all-hands - and written to be funny without being edgy.
