Terms of Service

TeamPlay lets a host run live team games that players join from their own devices with a room code. Hosts need an account; players don't. We're improving TeamPlay all the time, so games and features may be added, changed or retired.

• You must be at least 18 to create a host account, and the details you give must be accurate.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at admin+support@haznar.co if you think someone else has used it.

As a host, you choose the games, invite the players and run the room, so you're responsible for the sessions you run. That includes making sure your players are happy to take part, and that the way you use TeamPlay at work fits your organisation's own policies.

When you use TeamPlay, including the names, answers, chat and custom games you write, don't:

• post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful;
• use content you don't have the rights to, or impersonate someone;
• try to get into sessions or accounts that aren't yours, or disrupt anyone else's game;
• probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or scrape it with automated tools;
• resell TeamPlay, or use it to build a competing product.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

You own what you create on TeamPlay, such as custom games and the images you upload. You give us permission to store, copy and display it only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

TeamPlay itself, including its games, question banks, design and code, belongs to Haznar. You may use it to run games while you have access; you may not copy or redistribute it outside TeamPlay.

• Some features need a paid plan, priced on our pricing page.
• Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, under Paddle's own buyer terms. Paddle charges you, handles sales tax and VAT, and appears on your statement.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, in addition to any rights you have under Paddle's terms or local law.
• We may change prices. A change never affects a period you've already paid for, and we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

We work hard to keep TeamPlay running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and live games depend on everyone's own internet connection. TeamPlay is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires.

To the extent the law allows, Haznar isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

You can stop using TeamPlay and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering TeamPlay, with notice where we reasonably can. If we close an account without cause, we'll refund any unused part of a paid plan.

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll update the date at the top and tell hosts by email before they take effect. Using TeamPlay after that means you accept the new terms.
