Two truths and a lie, online
Two truths and a lie is the classic icebreaker: one person shares three statements about themselves, two true and one false, and everyone else guesses the lie. In TeamPlay the statements are typed rather than said out loud, every other team votes on its own devices, and points go both ways: teams score for spotting the lie, and the sharing team scores for every team it fools.

How a round works
- The captain takes the pen. Someone on the sharing team - their captain by default - types three statements about themselves: two true, one a lie, and secretly marks the lie.
- The room interrogates. The statements go up for everyone. Every player on the other teams taps the one they think is the lie; each team answers with its majority - a tie scores nothing, so talk it out.
- Points both ways. Every team that spots the lie scores 10. For every team it fools, the sharing team scores 10 instead.
Best for
- The first game of an offsite, before anything competitive
- New-hire onboarding, so people learn something real about each other
- Remote teams, because nobody has to unmute to take part

Questions
How do you play two truths and a lie on a video call?
Share your screen with TeamPlay, have everyone join with the room code, and let each team take a turn. One person types their three statements, the other teams vote on their own devices, and the reveal shows who was fooled.
Who writes the statements?
The sharing team's captain by default, but anyone on that team can take the pen. The statements are always about one named person, so the room is guessing about someone real.
What happens if a team's vote is split?
Each team answers with its majority, and a tie scores nothing - so teams have a reason to talk it out before time runs out.
